My interest in photography evolved from time spent on the islands of Maine. While the Maine seacoast boasts captivating views of rocky shorelines and wide, cerulean expanses of sea and sky, a closer look reveals a stunning world of intricate patterns and textures, and surprising bursts of color. Many of my photographs aim to capture this more intimate view of the natural world, drawing attention to unexpected details, “otherworldly” micro-landscapes, and the nearly seamless camouflage of many animals with their natural habitats. Thank you for taking the time to explore the gallery.
